Guest Workshop and Prague

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Gemma Slade has kindly agreed to visit the Island again to run another workshop. This is due to take place in the latter part of February; further details will be emailed to you nearer the time. The workshop is likely to be on a Saturday and take a similar format to the previous workshop. Please let me know if you have any suggestions regarding the areas of performance you would like the workshop to cover. The last workshop was extremely successful and I hope this one is as well supported.

For those of you wishing to come to Prague in April, the deadline has been extended. Dubbed “Kaleidoscope Goes International” this will be an opportunity to visit some theatres in Prague and hopefully perform some street theatre on Charles Bridge.

Please let me know by the morning of Friday 30th January if you would like to join us.

Seeking Summer Show Suggestions

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I’m pleased to say that the website has been receiving a lot of visitors since its launch. It will be updated regularly and the forum provides an opportunity to post about events past, present and future, as well as an opportunity to take part in the caption competition, so please continue to visit the website and encourage others to visit.

Preparations have started for the summer show and monthly get-togethers for script read throughs will start again shortly. Please can you post any suggestions you may have for the summer show in order that we can order copies of proposed scripts in time for the read throughs. All suggestions welcome!
